We'll prepare and send an estimate of expenses that spans the complete Recovery Process, including the first months' storage and a fully documented condition report with images of the equipment before and after the recovery.
We are setup to provide the following services:
- Coordinate freight arrangements with an insured carrier to move the equipment from its current location to a secure facility; may include permits for oversize and overweight items.
- Document the item's current "in place" condition with an on-site visual inspection & photos.
- Disconnect any air, water, or electrical lines from the equipment; de-install the equipment.
- Properly prepare the equipment for transport (such as skidding, support bracing, shrink wrapping).
- Provide rigging and loading onto a truck or other transport.
- Arrange secure equipment storage at the preferred geographic location, if not our warehouse facility in Zeeland (Grand Rapids), MI.
- Unload the equipment and check for missing items or damages; clean the equipment; make it presentable for marketing.
- Document the item's current condition with a written report that includes visual inspection and photos at the storage location.
- Take professional photos (with backdrop), showing equipment from different angles and close-ups of major components.
- If required, place equipment under power at the storage location to allow prospect(s) a "functioning machine" inspection.
Our goal is to sell the equipment within (2 - 4) months of recovery. Each month, we will review pricing and, as required, offer additional suggestions to enhance the sale of the aging asset.
